Take a whirl down memory lane as you learn basic moves to classic songs with captivating rhythms and exotic sounds. Bring shoes to dance in, water and a fun spirit! Open to all levels and abilities even if you prefer shimmying from a chair.

This weekly program will introduce students to mindful meditation, the current research in neuroscience, health, and wellness; and the how to build and maintain a home practice. Classes will have weekly themes such as -Healing at the Genetic Level- or -Eliciting the Relaxation Response- and a weekly technique for inducing a meditative state such as: breath awareness, zen breath counting, body awareness, lovingkindness, mantra and more. Emphasis will be on a secular approach with scientific data to support claims. If a projector is available slides will be presented during the first part of the lesson, and if relevant to the coursework, a handout will be provided on an as needed basis. Resources will also be provided for additional study.

China is the birthplace of tea and it was discovered almost 5,000 years ago. During this interactive seminar, we will explore several green teas from different provinces in China. Learn what distinguishes the green teas of China from green teas in other countries, specific health benefits associated with green tea, and the history and lore surrounding the teas being tasted. Three Chinese green teas will be tasted and discussed.

In this anti-bullying show, James addresses a serious topic in a way that's fun and engaging thanks to the amazing magic and lots of audience participation. James addresses various types of bullying, and addresses the question of why kids bully. James sends a strong message that victims need to walk or run away when possible, and then report it. “Telling is not tattling” when it comes to bullying -- it's an important intervention to help oneself or another person. The show also addresses the role of peer-pressure in bullying behaviors, since often a group of kids will gang-up to abuse someone. James encourages kids not be led into becoming bullies in order to please their friends.

Find out strategies for deciphering what is not disclosed on the labels (GMOs). Learn to decode produce stickers. Come away understanding how to identify the food categories and choose wisely. Gary teaches about nutritional supplements, food, the ecosystem and sustainable living. He was an innovator in the nutritional supplement field with a first of its kind retail catalog of name-brand vegetarian supplements and cruelty-free personal care products.
