Zumba's dance party atmosphere creates an engaging way for physically disabled and developmentally disabled populations,including people on the autistic spectrum to get fit while having fun. The exciting rhythms of Latin, International and pop music encourage even timid participants to shimmy, shake and shout while gaining valuable personal, interpersonal and fitness benefits. Objectives include increased self-confidence, focus, coordination, mastery, self-initiative, endurance as well as having an incredibly good time. This class is taught by licensed and experienced Zumba instructor and seasoned creative arts therapist.

Bullying does not stop when students leave school grounds. It is important that the entire school community helps create a safe environment for children. That includes parents. The nationally acclaimed Anti-Bullying Parent Workshop is designed to give parents practical tools and useful skills to identify bullying, how to properly work with faculty members and the importance of teaching their children about respect. Sensory Storytime is a program geared toward children with and without disabilities. A theme with rich sensory components is chosen for each program (i.e. for summer programs, watermelon or lemonade are possible themes). A picture book related to the theme is used as the center of the program. Following the story are a variety of sensory activities related to the theme. Sensory and fidget tools will be accessible throughout the program.

Experience music and sound as you’ve never seen or felt it before! Turn your voice into a giant laser show. Play with unique instruments, including a Laser Harp and a PVC Xylophone, and get tickled with sound with a huggable speaker. Learn about hearing loss and other ways Deaf people can still experience sounds. TOPICS: Waves, pitch, volume, sound in air, harmony, adding waves, filtering waves, human speech. A hands-on activity making working speakers can finish-up this show!

This program is designed for parents who want to ensure that their child is getting the most out of the public education system. Parents will also have the opportunity to exchange information with one another. Guided conversations in a supportive environment with a School Psychologist.

In this program, a School Psychologist will teach various play therapy games which are easy to learn and fun to play for any age. Parents will be able to teach their children how to better manage their emotions and behaviors through play! Improves communication as well. Parents should bring their children (ages 7-13). Older children are welcome also.

Inclusive program where young adults will gather to play tech-free games to challenge thinking and stimulate creativity. Games will also promote social skills, communication skills, and confidence building! The program is great for students with disabilities such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Program may be offered on a recurring basis,

In this fun and engaging, no partner dance party, you'll revisit favorite songs and dances of eras past which came to us from other countries. Take a whirl down memory lane as you learn basic moves to classic songs with captivating rhythms and exotic sounds. Bring shoes to dance in, water and a fun spirit! Open to all levels and abilities even if you prefer shimmying from a chair.

This program is presented by a School Psychologist and will explain the basics of psychology and the mind. Some topics include the subconscious, personality, and basics on mental disorders.
