Follow Greece’s greatest hero, Hercules, on his many adventures, as he battles mythological creatures and warriors. Through mask work, poetry, and swordplay, your students will discover the early stories of Greece. This play is designed to bring students closer to early civilizations by appreciating the similarities that we all share. This play stands alone and is the second is our Greek Mythology for Kids series.

Shakespeare for the Common Core (Recommended K-8th grade) We meet the Bard as he is working on his plays “Romeo and Juliet”, “Julius Caesar”, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” is the central play of this production. It is a timeless story about two young teens who find love despite the prejudice and hatred of their families. Shakespeare’s words come alive with imagination, swordplay, and romance. Through this production, we hope to introduce the students to more of Shakespeare’s works while encouraging them to overcome prejudices in their own lives.

Pinocchio (Recommended K-8th grade) Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio is the timeless tale of an Italian woodcarver, Geppetto, who carves a son out of a block of pine. Join the wooden marionette on his journey to become a real boy! Through Pinocchio’s mischievous adventures, he discovers that to truly be human is to be good-hearted and brave. This is a story of self-discovery, transformation, and redemption. With this play, we hope to teach students the importance of honesty, education, and gratitude.

Robin Hood (Recommended K-8) Robin Hood is an adventurous tale of a hero who lived during the reign of the greedy and jealous Prince John. Through the creation of new taxes and laws, the poor were unable to survive the economic hardships of everyday living. Good people were forced to hide in Sherwood Forest for fear of dreadful consequences. Robin of Loxley was brave enough to stand up to this cruelty! Through this action-packed story, we hope to educate the students about the importance of perseverance and leadership.

This show will be running October 27 - December 21. A Christmas Carol (Recommended K-8th grade) Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of the season, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. In this charming tale, we hope to educate the students about the class system of Victorian England and encourage them to help others that are less fortunate than they are.
