Each child will create two stamps and two booklets. They will be given a plastic bag (their box) in which they'll place one stamp and one booklet. In a paper bag to carry with them, they'll keep their own stamp and booklet, a pencil and a stamp pad. Each child will hide his/her "box" somewhere in the library and will make up a clue as to where it is hidden. The clues will be kept at the craft table or central spot where the children will come to get them as they complete each search. When they find a box, they stamp the pad in the box with their stamp and write their name, and then stamp their booklet with the stamp that is in the box they found. As they follow each clue, they will fill their booklet with the stamp imprints of all the boxes, which are put back in the hiding place after being found. This can be done outside on the grounds of the library or within the library itself.
