A Visit to OZ Literature- Other,
Visual Arts- Crafts
Travel down the yellow brick road to view character dolls and nutcrackers. Enjoy a bit of history/fun facts, followed by movie & book trivia. Choose several of these activities to customize your celebration; craft a poppy or two, design a rainbow windsock, have a team scarecrow building contest, and to conclude, decorate either a main character portrait complete with rainbow streamers, OR a hot air balloon cutout for the journey to no place like home! It's extra fun if children come dressed as a favorite Oz character!
$101- $200

Book Character BINGO! Life Skills- Other,
Literature- Other,
Other
Bingo with a twist! Players first assemble a blank board and backing sheet, then design the board by choosing from at least 60 classic and popular book character pictures. Using playing pieces provided, there is usually time to complete 2 full rounds of play. A character is picked, announced, and posted on a display board. Players call out Bingo as each row is completed, receive a sticker, and play continues until boards are full. Played for fun, good sportsmanship is gently reinforced, and we encourage and assist one another (i.e. older players help younger spot characters on their boards).
$101- $200
Book Crafting History,

Visual Arts- Crafts

Program may be customized with information about National Library Week or Children's Book Week. A variety of book projects is available to custumize your program! Choose from mini blank journals or photo albums, unique zig-zag books, or a sewn (tied) My Book of Favorites Book.
$101- $200
