|Garden Getaways II||
Whatever the season, a garden holds that season’s best display of nature’s beauty. The first vivid buds and blossoms of spring, the vibrant deep colors of a summer garden, the riot of rusts, oranges, and reds in the fall, and the stark patterns of tree branches against the sky in winter. If you’ve “traveled” with me before, you’ve seen 10 gardens at their spring and summer-flowering best. This time we’ll visit 10 new gardens as well as revisiting several of those you’ve seen, now in their autumn and winter beauty. You’ll take home comprehensive information about the 35 public gardens in the immediate New York area, and discover the best restaurants and other attractions close to those gardens we "visit". Prizes will be awarded and all garden lovers are invited!
Is there anything more enchanting than a stroll thorough a garden on a beautiful spring day? Whether it is small or large, formal or informal, secret or not-so-secret, a garden will always lift your spirits and lighten your heart.
