Taonga Treasures is an interactive program which highlights the cultural treasures of the Maori, the Indigenous people of New Zealand. These treasures include family, homeland, native language, geographic landmarks, stories, songs, regalia and challenge the audience to think of non-tangible items as treasures. Told in storylike form and supported by songs and dances, this program includes English narrations and loads of audience participation.
