Talk n Drum is in the Green House!
Is a one hour stage show for kids 5 to 9 years of age that features exciting drumming on all kinds of drums including ones made of recycled objects, original songs and lively chants in English, Spanish and Italian, and infectious movements all performed by 3 players. We will all sing hello in Spanish, say ‘let’s eat pizza’ in Italian, ‘Goodbye’ in German and shout the word ‘recycle’ in all of these languages. Kids will be clapping their hands and wiggling in their seats from beginning to end!
Talk n Drum is in the Green House! was born out of the innovative multi sensory language program Talk n Drum Foreign Language and Music Program for Preschoolers. This show supports the New York State Learning Standard for the Arts (Standard #4) by introducing different languages in addition to English, teaching ‘race and cultural inclusion’ and the importance of communication on a global scale. It also teaches the importance of being part of a global community that is committed to ‘recycling’ and keeping the earth green and healthy.
