Anything is possible when children's imaginations and creativity run wild in the MonsterMaker program, which combines storytelling and craft-making into a single activity. During the performance of a creepy monster story, the children in the audience are called upon to fashion the MONSTERS that the character in the story must confront by using their imaginations and craft materials including Styrofoam balls, pipe cleaners, clay, molds, and cloth to produce effigies of something fearful. The crafters then help the performer to conquer these creatures by constructing the tools that inspire the bravery and confidence required to defeat them.
