Music & Movement with Miss Lisa Life Skills- Parenting,
Music
Very interactive and entertaining music & movement program strongly based on all aspects of child development, from brain development to social-emotional. Multi-sensory & multi-learning style approach includes hands-on instruments and scarves &/or ribbons for children to use, rhythm games, chants, sing-alongs & dances that can be planned to fit your library's current theme. Emphasis on emergent literacy and other skills & concepts needed for school & life. Foundational statements incorporated throughout for parents to learn how activities benefit their child's development, and how parents can incorporate them into daily routine. Accoustic guitar is primary instrument, with modeling of rhythm instruments and occasional recorded sound effects to enhance the aural & visual experience.
