TO LIFE! A HOLOCAUST HERO'S MODERN MIRACLE (The Amazing Story of the Man Who Brought the First News of the Holocaust to the West) (Holocaust, Jewish, Christian, History) History,

Performing Arts- Storytelling
An evening of mystery and revelation. Revolving around the author's thrilling discovery of an unsung Holocaust hero's lost artifacts, Dr. Newborn tells a miraculous, life-affirming story of how three seemingly disconnected lives—his own included—magically intersected over time & space. They did so via the saving grace of the the Polish Jewish Bund's great spokesman, Artur Zygielbojm—-a tragic hero who sacrificed his life to bring the first news of the Holocaust to the West. Newborn's discovery links him by surprise to Zygielbojm's surviving niece, a 75 year-old champion ballroom dancer who brings him under her spell, inducing him to dance-—not to mourn, but to celebrate Jewish survival. A kind of post-modern Hasidic tale of the Holocaust that entrances, beguiles and moves all listeners. (With dramatic visuals)
