Many are still extant, but many have undergone extensive refurbishment and modifications, while others still (which are featured) have been razed. | Train Stations of the Hudson Valley Region PAst and Present |

This slide show and lecture program is devoted to the largely forgotten and overlooked insitution of the local train depot. When the West Shore Line ceased operation in 1959 along with it went may train stations. Unfortunately, most of them are now long since demolished, but a few still remain as libraries, offices, and even privte residences, many of which are covered in thsi program.

A lecture and slide show about water-driven mills of Bergen, Rockland, and Orange Counties, the people who used them, and the principles which made them work. Some made electricity, some were blacksmith shops, some were saw mills, and othrs were gristmills, tanneries, or even print shops. All are interesting and are vestiges of the days when we were still a rural community.
