Madona Cole-Lacy, wearable artist and fashion designer, presents the ethnicity, function and design details of West African fashions in a mini educational fashion show! Highlights ceremonial attires and the role of the 'Ashoibi' in distinguishing groups at festive occasions. Demonstration on how to 'Tie Lappa' and ‘Henkincha’ and a mini multi-ethnic fashion show of traditional and contemporary fashions and accessories modeled by participants.
