http://rochesterhomepage.net/content/video/?cid=162831 Kathy Wilkins, singer, entertainer and educator, sings a wide variety of songs. This program of Celtic songs can include up to one hour of American popular Irish songs from the early 1900s, accompanied by piano (see video clip) and/or up to one hour of traditional Irish songs with guitar accompaniment. Short "lessons" about the historical or cultural context of the songs, such as information about composers, or the explanations of the lyrics, can be included if desired. If "lessons" or other speeches are desired for groups larger than 25, amplification would be helpful.
