| FELDMAN, GARY ((ORGANIC FOOD/NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS)) | WHAT "ON EARTH" IS HAPPENING? |
Life Skills- Other, Media- Other, Nature- Environment |
Gary Feldman, consumer food educator and a forerunner in public education on GMO food, addresses the issue of whether humanity and the ecosystem can survive with fast-track science and futuristic technologies. Look at the diminishing farms, forests and dying oceans here and throughout the world.... Yes - food, water, trees, DNA – even air have become owned (patented). We will talk about the devastating cause and effect of the disappearing bees and butterflies. Learn how nature has been pushed to the brink. What is the role that science is playing in this “unnatural” evolution? Did enough people take heed of what Rachel Carson was saying in Silent Spring? Was George Orwell’s 1984 fiction? We will focus on intellectual property, atmospheric manipulation, censorship, the “precious” components in your computers and cell phones, tracking devices, biometrics, “smart” meters, paperless banking, our unhealthy healthcare system, the evolving pharmaceutical industry and so much in between. Learn how these seemingly unrelated subjects actually, and amazingly are connected.

Health & Fitness- Other, Life Skills- Food, Life Skills- Other |
What stops us from following our dreams? What prevents us from living a passionate and fulfilling life? Is it fear? Too young? Too old? Using PowerPoint, handouts and motivational speaking, I explore life balance, fears, goals and what they are comprised of, and the importance of being happy and following one’s dreams.
