Inclusive program where young adults will gather to play tech-free games to challenge thinking and stimulate creativity. Games will also promote social skills, communication skills, and confidence building! The program is great for students with disabilities such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Program may be offered on a recurring basis,

Teens/ Young Adults will learn song structure and have fun creating an original song! Most popular songs have only 3 or 4 chords! With the guidance of the performer on acoustic guitar, participants will create a song by first deciding on the theme and then piecing together lyrics and a melody. The formula is easy....Verses, Pre-chorus, Chorus & then Repeat! Hopefully the program will inspire others to start writing and creating other original music!

Teens will create word clues that lead to solutions to their own original crossword puzzle. Have fun challenging your friends and family to complete your puzzles. As an alternative, teens may also create visual puzzles such as mazes.

This program is presented by a School Psychologist and will explain the basics of psychology and the mind. Some topics include the subconscious, personality, and basics on mental disorders.

4th to 6th grade Write about recent events and how they made you feel. Hopefully you can get into the habit of writing in your journal every day!

Science
This program is intended for Junior High or High School students who need a little extra help with any particular subject including geometry, algebra, science, history, and reading/ writing. Organization, study strategies, and test taking tricks will be discussed as well! If taking a high school equivalency exam such as the TASC, tutoring will also be offered. In addition: Can be designed as a SAT PREP course as well! Lead by one teacher, so students may be paired up, and/or individually tutored in intervals, depending on group size and subject material.

In this hour-long program, a Psychologist will teach you easy and fun strategies to help get things done (GTD). You will learn how to set short-term and long-term goals, how to keep a calendar of events, and how to make effective lists. Some other skills include: Productivity, efficiency, team work, and independent thinking.

You will create your own Visual journal by expressing your own creativity with use of photos, drawings, memorabilia. Participants will bring in their own photos or a USB. Can use the internet to print out photos and words, or photocopy photos from magazines/books.

In this hour-long program, you will assess and identify what careers you would be most satisfied and best fitted for. You will explore all of the options for your future including potential colleges and how to best reach your long-term goals.
