What Inspires You? - A “Positive Music” Exploration, Concert & Songwriting Workshop Literature- Creative Writing,
Music,
Performing Arts- Other
What inspires you? Is it a delicious meal? A glorious sunset? Perhaps a dear friend's smiling face? Whatever it may be, let's get fired up! In this concert/workshop -- perfect for the NYS Summer Reading Program *Be Creative* and *Express Yourself* themes -- acclaimed singer-songwriter Glen Roethel will perform some of his POSI (positive message) songs to get our juices flowing, then we'll awaken our inner songwriters when Glen guides us with creative exercises to inspire us and help us write our own POSI song. When we're done, we'll make a quick demo recording so that later on Glen can spice it up, post it at GLENROETHEL.COM, INSPIRELINE.COM (and possibly at the POSITIVEMUSICASSOCIATION.COM websites) and even email it to each participant -- iPod ready.
$351- $500
