New York/New England Women in Song History,
Music,
Performing Arts- Storytelling
Hear the songs sung by New York and New England women through 200 years of time. Pamela Goddard has searched through field recordings and archives to bring these voices of the past to life. These songs tell the stories of average people, as sung by average people; the housewife, the farmer, the young people in love. This program includes photos and diary quotes to bring historical women to life.

That Old Song and Dance History,
Music,
Performing Arts- Dance
Enjoy the simple pleasures of long ago through this fun hour of historical playparty games, songs, and dances. Playparties were a way for children and families to enjoy music and dance when no instruments were available. We'll learn simple songs and dances from the 19th century, still enjoyed by children today. Pamela Goddard brings nearly twenty years of history museum education experience to this and other programs.
