Tea has been an integral part of Japanese culture for almost 2,000 years. During this interactive seminar, we will explore several different styles of green tea from Japan. Learn what distinguishes the different styles of Japanese green tea from green teas in other countries, specific health benefits associated with green tea, and the history and lore surrounding the teas being tasted. Three Japanese teas will be tasted and discussed.

By being aware of what has happened to our food, we can understand what is behind so many major events and turmoil occurring in the United States and around the world. We will also discuss the GMO food labeling legislation. How we spend our dollars sends a most powerful message. The future of humanity, animals and the ecosystem depends upon our food choices.

Learn about how white and yellow teas differ from the teas in other categories, specific health benefits associated with white and yellow teas, and the history and lore surrounding the teas being tasted. Three teas will be tasted and discussed including: Bai Mu Dan; Silver Needle; and Jun Shan Yin Zhen.
