The Marvelous Mutts library program is as exciting and entertaining as it is educational. Our program offers unique public programming that is valuable for community members of all ages. The Marvelous Mutts is a team of amazing canine athletes led by Kara Gilmore and Nadja Palenzuela. The Marvelous Mutts have wowed crowds throughout the US and South America, rising from humble beginnings to reach the pinnacle of canine athleticism. The team features national and world finalists in canine Frisbee©, agility and dock diving. The Marvelous Mutts’ library shows feature Frisbee©, trick and agility stunts that will keep all ages entertained. Woven throughout these performances are stories of rescue and redemption that teach humane treatment of animals and lessons on dog safety. Our shows feature hands-on participation with The Marvelous Mutts. People of all ages learn about basic pet care and about compassion for animals from our show. No matter how large or small your space may be, or the composition of your community, your patrons will love our show.

Work with pretzel dough during the class and learn how to make pretzels and stuff them with chocolate, nacho cheese and cinnamon sugar. The flavor of the pretzel is hidden on the inside! Samples will be shared during the class and we will also make a caramel dip for everyone to take home.

Listen Up Safety Services provides informative, engaging, and entertaining multimedia character education presentations that hit home for students, helping them discover the information that they really need in order to stay safe and out of trouble. Popular presentations include: Internet Rights and Responsibilities, Bullying, “Don’t Be a Rat?” Dealing with strangers, Substance abuse, and “S.O.S. Serving Our School.” In each presentation, students critically reflect on, interpret and discuss their understanding of the issues through stories, video clips, current events, and role-plays, connecting these to their own lives and to society as a whole. Students have the opportunity to interact and communicate their ideas and feelings through expressing their own experiences, telling their stories, and role-playing.
