The program she introduces to students, with its creative online interactive component and accompanying short story contest, makes this a perfect addition to school programs. Gloria and her characters (as puppets), Katie, Jake and their dog Cooper are available to visit schools. The title of her presentation is “How to open the door to your imagination.” Gloria’s 40-minute presentation is lively, giving the students the opportunity to think about what their Undercover Kids’ Adventure will be all about. The program has been developed for grades 4 through 6. And the books are available for sale at your school and the author will do a book signing. It works great because the program is based on the New York State curriculum guidelines. There is a 40-page Teacher Resource Guide available for download. It is great for cross curriculum programming. According to Gloria, “Children's lives are often too programmed.
