Available the last 3 weeks of March only! Learn about how bunnies are born and develop in the first two weeks of their life while looking at actual photos, hold and pet babies in laps and watch funny circle play time! This program is popular with the pre-school age group. It is also alot of fun for school age kids and YA's! I can discuss in more depth about caring for a rabbit, lifespan, genetics,gestational period, predator and prey, etc.

Take home real specimens - rubies, emeralds, amethyst…) Geode opening, Excavations, Amber discovery activity options too! We offer Dinosaurs Rock® and Oceans Rock® too.

We All Sing Together For A Better World! is an inspiring and uplifting program where audience members young and old delight in joining in the fun and singing along. In her inimitable and magical way, Story Laurie seamlessly weaves together songs and stories about caring for the Earth and for one another. Story Laurie has a knack for making us laugh while also helping us to think deeply about the kind of world we want to live in and how, by working (& singing!) together, we can all achieve that world. Folk tales, myths, songs both new and old, and real life stories of people doing wondrous things -- all come to life in the hands of this world-wise yet home-grown children’s performer. If ever there were a performer for our times, Story Laurie is IT!

Using a current library story theme, season or place, this is a family friendly time. Mom! Dad! Grandparents too! Listen to some lively, easy to learn, child-friendly songs paired with some seasonal stories. Dawn will bring along her rhythm band bag of instruments for use during this fun time. There are songs with movements and songs with puppets so don’t be shy – we could get a little silly! It’s a fun time for all, and especially appropriate for the very young. Previous themes include songs of the river & water, world music, nature and animals.

An interactive program that teaches people what it takes to be a fox. Learn about life in a “fox family” which starts with courtship, choosing a den and raising their young. The kids in the audience will be the young foxes in this simulation and will learn what foxes eat, the purpose of play, how to hunt and how to claim their own territory as they grow older. Folks will learn a little bit about the language of foxes and their incredible ability to adapt to almost any environment.

Make a Splash..Read! program is a 45 minute interactive exploration of the Wonders of Water, Ocean Fun, Fresh Water and Beach Life using songs, story songs and some creative movement. One of Andy's most requested songs, Funky ABC's will be sung and every letter of the alphabet at the audiences suggestion will be water related. To keep traditional music alive and well the old favorite, Down the Bay will be in the repertoire, asking audiences for rhyming suggestions. Children will also have a chance to move like water creatures during a few songs. Much more fun is planned. Audience participation is always encouraged.
