Audience members will play a ten foot Tibetan trumpet, the steel drum, dance and do the limbo to calypso music played on the electric guitar, and sing a reggae song. They will also learn some hula moves and dance to the Hawaiian steel guitar. Stories from far away lands that teach good moral lessons are told and accompianied by authentic instruments. These include the Turkish saz, Japanese shakuhachi flute, and Hawaiian lap steel guitar. Assorted percussion instruments brought back from my travels can be handed out as well. This program is truly one of a kind and all instruments are authentic and brought back by myself from the country of origin. The music is real and not dumbed down in any way, and I have found that this program always thrills, entertains, and educates audiences. Its perfect for ages 3-11.
