GREAT TOPIC to COORDINATE WITH THE 2013 SUMMER READING TOPIC -- DIG INTO READING! We'll take you on a journey to a time when giant retiles ruled the earth. Children will examine real fossil casts and explore the differences in the teeth of herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs. Students will participate in a mini-dinosaur excavation and make a cast of a dinosaur tooth to take home.

** Rocket science** This is your chance to be a rocket scientist! Investigate the four forces of flight with the help of a Unique Flying Object. Explore the science involved in the rocket construction as you build your own “Mad Science Skyblazer II Rocket” that you can take home Mad Science Enrichment Programs are fun explorations into science and technology, and they encourage informal learning through hands-on experience. All Mad Science workshops include a lot of fascinating equipment, supplies, and take-home materials which the children build themselves. The Mad Science mission is to spark the imagination and curiosity of children everywhere by providing them with fun, entertaining, and educational activities which instill a clear understanding of what science really is, and how it affects the world around them.

Pattysaurus in which selfish Patty becomes so obsessed with her dinosaur collection that she turns into a gigantic sauropod herself and Egg Mountain in which the audience helps out on this surprise filled journey that leads to the discovery of Egg Mountain and Maiasaura, the first dinosaur known to care for its young. Based on current scientific discoveries, this piece educates as it entertains.

We present two programs about Spooks and Magic this summer. "I Sea a Sea Monster" explores how legends like the Lock Ness and Mermaids originate - and kids create their own Sea Monster with clay and Monster Goo. In "Wands, Wizards, and Waves," kids learn about sailors' supersitions at sea, visit a Potions Table, and create their own wands. Our programs present hands-on activities, take-home crafts, and fun experiments. We are accredited (by American Association of Museums) and insured; programs are taught by certified educators.
