In this interactive introduction to the excitement of live theatre, two teams of professional improvisers challenge each other to spontaneously create scenes inspired by audience suggestions. Audience members help create characters, settings and stories – often participating on stage. Collaboration (actor/actor and actor/audience) is clearly essential. Challenges include using language creatively, scenes resembling books, and scenes inspired by curriculum subjects. Recipient of Young Audiences of New Jersey’s first Artists of the Year Award. The average presentation lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. Q & A time is set aside if requested by the school.
Programs of different time spans are available.
Many schools opt to have 2 programs allowing for difference in age and grade levels.
The content of the shows vary when possible taking into consideration developmental levels of the grade school audiences and also is tied into the current curriculum where possible.
The program for the younger children emphasizes that science is fun and worth pursuing with a limited amount of scientific information appropriate for that age group.
The program for the older students has the same emphasis but includes a greater amount of age/developmentally appropriate scientific information

Participants have fun learning the basics of balancing and juggling with feathers, scarves, balls, spinning plates, diabolos, and devil sticks, while improving hand-eye coordination, focus, teamwork, physical fitness, and self-confidence! The programs are adjusted to the age and ability of group (ideal for ages 7 and up and maximum of 30 participants). Keep in mind that the program is also great for teen, pre-teen, and even adult groups.
Jen Slaw's juggling combines grace, humor, skill and beauty with a captivating style which delights all audiences. Jen is an International Jugglers Association 3 Ball Champion, and has performed at countless schools, libraries, museums, festivals, theaters, casinos, corporate events, & private parties. She performs with stars from Cirque du Soleil and Ringling Bros. as part of the Nimble Arts Troupe. Jen has taught juggling to children & adults with the Big Apple Circus and more. Jen holds degrees from Swarthmore College in art & engineering
