Her music teaches a broad range of preschool topics which include numeracy, movement, nutrition, and literacy. It was beautiful to see the children captivated by both the music and the original storybook that Meredith shared with them while she sang. The Up Past Bedtime Band are a group of talented New York City musicians who can usually be found up well past bedtime playing everything from country music to punk in many of NYC’s top venues. Together they create a fabulously interactive family concert featuring funky drumming, electric violin, and silly songs about assorted childhood challenges –from accidentally losing your lunchbox to accidentally getting locked in the bathroom. Winter concerts explore sledding, sneezing, and itchy snowsuits, summer shows feature tunes about boating and baseball.
