Levande, Meredith Monkey Monkey Music Interactive Show Music,
Performing Arts- Other
Meredith and her band give a very upbeat, interactive and educational performance which gets kids moving! At the core of Monkey Monkey Music is the belief that children learn when they are engaged, and music engages children. Monkey Monkey Music is seen on nationwide public television on both independent public television stations and PBS member stations. Her music teaches a broad range of preschool topics which include numeracy, movement, nutrition, and literacy. "Meredith sang a song about picking fruit in a garden and everyone felt like they were there in that garden. It was beautiful to see the children captivated by both the music and the original storybook that Meredith shared with them while she sang. This reinforced the library's mission of lifelong learning." Joanne Friedman, Children's Librarian, Kearny Library. "Monkey Monkey Music is highly professional, interactive, and entertaining. Both the children and parents really enjoyed the program. They danced, they participated, and remained engaged the entire duration of the show. I would highly recommend this program to any venue or library." - Renee Baez, Youth Services Librarian, Lynbrook Public Library.
