Defibrillators Band, The	The Defibrillators/Original Music that will jump start your heart and revive the spirit	Music, Performing Arts- Storytelling	The Defibrillators are a group of aging baby boomers and professional musicians who write songs that depict the foils and foibles of growing old gracefully. All members are seasoned performers that bring humor, harmony and hot rhythm and blues music to any venue. Our songs can be sampled at MySpace.com/thedefibrillators. The Defibrillators have been entertaining audiences for almost ten years with their unique style and take on the getting older generation. Their shows can be done with amplified music or for smaller, intimate venues, acoustically. It is a show that audiences will not forget as we have cd's for sale too.	$501- $1000

Refreshing, lyrical and provocative In the Grove looks at the many ways different cultures have imagined the living world of trees. From a delicate tale of love celebrating the Cherry trees of Japan, to an old English song that speaks of the hidden language of flowers, to the poignant Cornish legend of One Tree Hill, we'll travel ‘round the world in story celebrating this garden of delights. Each tale is surrounded by music and songs from many lands. Shih, Patricia	Immigration - The Musical! An artist-in-residence program	History, Music, Performing Arts- Theater	Multiple national award-winning singer-songwriter Patricia Shih offers a residency designed for grades 4 and up to teach about Immigration in America. Ms. Shih will visit each class in one grade level to help them research and write a musical; if time and budget allows, there can also be auditions, rehearsals and an actual school or community theatrical production based on the students' families' own immigrant ancestor's experience. The length and scope of the residency will depend on the size of the grade population and the school's budget, needs and wants.	$1001- $3000
merwin, chris	Kailani-Island to Island- hula Caribbean show	Multicultural- Other, Music, Performing Arts- Dance	Hula show with authentic hula dancer from Hawaii for adults. Also includes Caribbean music on the guitar and steel drum, hence the name island to island. Hawaiian hula dancer will perform traditional hulas and Chris Merwin sings and plays 1920s Hawaiian steel guitars, electric guitar, and steel drum. Cultural background for the music and dance is given.	$501- $1000
Pelham, Ruth	PeaceSongs!	Multicultural- Other, Music, Performing Arts- Other	Reduced fees available for multiple programs in one day or block booking with multiple libraries for the same day. The voices of children from around the world can be heard singing out for peace and justice through the poignant songs and stories that are part of the PeaceSongs! program. Inviting audiences to sing along, Ruth Pelham will perform 'No Uranium Mining' composed by eighth graders from the Havasupai Tribe who live at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Other songs among many will be 'People Are People' that fifth grade students from Lansingburgh, NY composed to send messages of hope and sustenance to tsunami refugee children in Sri Lanka. PeaceSongs! is the newest of Music Mobile's programs and is grounded in the belief that participatory singing can change the world for the greater good.	$351- $500
