Body Art - Speed-painting Artist uses quality, water-based, washable paint to create fantastic designs on face or arm, fast and very popular for all ages. Microfine glitter adds glam! Designs can be simple to more complex faces - explore the painted mask. Great to use as a kick-off to reading program or as the final party. Intergenerational day: Grandparent and grandchild get painted this day - great fun. Simple design: 1 minute per person, most complex design up to 3 minutes per person. Book EARLY for dates around HALLOWEEN.

Option 1: What, Why, How, Where? What are balloons made of? Where do they come from? Science, environment, art all covered in this lively discussion of balloons types & inflators. Flying, silly, whistling balloons. Multiage Group: All children will leave with a balloon animal. A balloon house may be built and left in the library, dependent on space available. This program can be repeated each year as we then change the information portion of the program to how to build with balloons, magic with balloons, balloons to tell a story, etc. Option 2: Hands on Lecture. Students with parents to help, or students old enough to bend & twist a balloon by themselves without parent. Limit 25-30 students. Entertainer provides balloons.

Culture comes to life through hands-on stations, art and authentic objects as students learn about this significant Mexican celebration of ancestors. Adaptable for middle/high school groups, this program gives important context to the Day of the Dead and its role in Mexican culture and heritage.

Available the last 3 weeks of March only! Learn about how bunnies are born and develop in the first two weeks of their life while looking at actual photos, hold and pet babies in laps and watch funny circle play time! This program is popular with the pre-school age group. It is also alot of fun for school age kids and YA's! I can discuss in more depth about caring for a rabbit, lifespan, genetics,gestational period, predator and prey, etc.

Macrame was first invented by sailors while out on whaling ships. Hemp is an environmentally sound, easily renewable source of fiber used for clothing, paper, and twines. Hemp comes in many vibrant colors as well as the popular natural color. I have many workshops available, from Beginner to Intermediate and Advanced. Make a bracelet learning a variety of macrame knots and bead placements. Most workshops best suited to Teens and Adults, I do have a couple that can be adapted to grades 4-6.

Get close and comfortable with a seasonal harvest of fresh fruits and vegetables as you learn how to capture their beauty in still life drawing and/or painting. Inspiring examples of artwork featuring fruits and vegetables will be shown and participants will learn nutritional benefits of these delicious foods. Terrific for Healthy Kids Day, Harvest Day, Thanksgiving or any day!

Let's celebrate World Peace Day (3rd Sunday of September) with this cool beaded peace sign clip! You can hang it on your belt, backpack, or soccer bag. Mine hangs from my desk lamp. We will also make a Peace Mala bracelet. This symbolic bracelet promotes friendship, respect and peace between all people in our world. Peace Out!
