4th to 6th grade. Using a ruler, pencil and markers, sketch out and draw your own original comic book with text bubbles. Base your drawings on characters in which you are already familiar or create your own. Your story line may be fantasy or based on your own life. This program can be adapted for teenagers as well.

It's never too early to start preparing! Learn effective ways to prepare and study for school exams and standardized tests. Students will make their own flashcards with index cards. This workshop also offers strategies to anticipate certain types of questions that are commonly asked. This program can be adapted for 4th to 6th graders as well.

Do you know what a vision board is? The presenter will explain what a vision board is? Inspirational people, photos, and quotes, as well as, positive long and short term goals. On a sheet of poster board, teens will cut out of magazines, print out photos they already have, or draw/write onto the board themselves! Please bring old magazines from home or photos you may want to add or print. Additional magazines will be provided.

If you are interested in marine life, this program is for you! This program covers home aquarium set-up (fresh and salt-water), coral care, and information about various type of marine life. The program will also offer information about different types of careers within the marine sciences field.

This program is designed for parents who want to make sure that their children or teenage children are keeping busy with positive outlets and positive influences. You will also have an opportunity to exchange information with other parents. Guided discussions in a supportive environment by a School Psychologist.

In this program, teens will play an interactive game called MEDALLION. Similar to the game GO FISH, but with a twist! Teens will learn how to manage 13 different emotions. It's fun and can be played many different ways! This therapeutic activity is guided by a School Psychologist.
