We'll meet Kate in Kate's Acorn, who gets a special surprise when she helps to save the earthworms - in the end her first acorn grows into an oak! In Kite's Tale, two best friends create an unusual kite that wings us across the sky in a hilarious fantasy of kite strings, bird's nests and song. "Songs for Little Ones for Love of Nature and the Big Outdoors" consists of about 13 interactive and original songs (and sometimes included: a dramatic story) that will educate and excite young children about various outside things like: ladybugs, ants, bears, trees and habitats but also about other fun kid topics like counting, playing, colors and dreams!

Enjoy a program dedicated to the learning and loving of animals. Jason will teach about Stickers the tree frog, Tickles the hedgehog and lots of other fun creatures including mice, hissing roaches, lizards, toads, bunnies, crabs, and baby animals. Live Animals! Everyone is encouraged to pet and touch these creatures. All animals are displayed in colorful petting tubs so the children can safely reach and pet them. Jason closes out the show introducing his very opinionated and fluffy friend Feathers; a chicken who helps everyone dance The Chicken Dance.

Class will focus on how to rebuild our earth with an easy weaving project that re-uses, re-purposes and recycles commonly discarded materials, such as junk mail, plastic bags, packaging wraps and more!. Easy weaving and knotting techniques on a cardboard loom will be taught for all age levels and ability. Participants will weave an earth conscious motto into their weaving. Finished pieces are ready for hanging on wall. Inspiring examples of weaving from diverse cultures will be shown and environmentally conscious practices will be discussed. Class is taught by award-winning artist/Board Member of the Long Island Craft Guild, art educator and passionate conservationist. Great for Earth Day and every day!
