They will learn moves such as the side pass, pirouette, flying changes, piaffe and passage. The history of the art will be taught using Margeurite Henry's book: The White Stallion of Lippiza. Students will be allowed to perform a KUR using classical music at the end of the program. Dressage is the art of teaching horses to dance in harmony with themselves. It was originally developed by the Greek General Xenophon, as a means to train horses for war. Today it is performed both as an Olympic sport in the summer games and by those who wish to train their horses in the higher arts.
