In this hour-long program, a School Psychologist will teach you easy and fun strategies to help GET THINGS DONE (GTD). You will learn how to set short-term and long-term goals, how to keep a calendar of events, and how to make lists. Some other skills include: Productivity, efficiency, team work, and independent thinking.

Are your students struggling with their times tables? I wrote these songs for my own son and they really work! If your students respond well to music watch their skills improve after participating in this program. And they DO participate! Each child is given a lyric sheet to sing along. Props and costumes are used as children come up on stage. Music styles include pop, reggae, rock, swing and jazz waltz. There’s even a cheer! CD’s are available to reinforce learning. This educational material will reach out to your students reinforcing the powerful connection of math and music

After a demonstration, participants will follow a recipe to measure and mix all the ingredients to make the muffins. We will bake the muffins on my mini muffin maker right in the library. Participants will use pastry bags to apply their choice of colored icing. This class does require and extra 15 minutes due to baking in library.

I offer an interactive presentation for high school students who have loved participating in the performing arts in high school, and who are looking for summer performing arts programs, or who are thinking about majoring in performing arts studies in college or other arts training programs after high school. We examine the range of degree and program options, curriculum considerations, and the process of applying to performing arts studies. It is possible to arrange a multi-day workshop during which I will work with students in small groups and/or individually on developing their college lists and selecting audition material. I provide a wealth of unbiased resources and information about a range of performing arts summer programs, as well as colleges, universities, and conservatory training programs. This class teaches you how to find items to sell and how to determine their value. Learn the proper way to create a listing that will drive more bidders to your auction. You will also learn techniques to get the best photographs and descriptions of your items, how to leave feedback and use your eBay account to track your auctions. We will list an item on eBay and expose secrets and tips as we explain each step along the way.

Health and Patient Advocacy in Todays Health Care Systems As the Health Care System continues to evolve (often infrastructure ways) patient need to know how to prepare and present at medical interactions to achieve their desired outcomes and speak up for themselves for safety and empowerment.

Vanishing Bees, Butterflies and Bats Bees are vanishing from the face of the earth! The Monarch Butterfly is becoming extinct. The saying, “going batty” will be a thing of the past as well. Bats are declining rapidly. Why should we care? Gary Feldman will show you why we need these life-sustaining members of our ecosystem more than you think, what their purpose is, and why we can’t live without them. Learn when the phenomenon called colony collapse started and what is wiping the bees out of existence. What will happen without them? Will our ecosystem and people change? Learn what the impact will be at our supermarkets. Learn how you can keep the “buzz” still humming, keep the butterflies flourishing, and why we all need to go batty to save the bats.
