Life Skills- Other, Music, Performing Arts- Storytelling |
Erin Lee is an award-winning songwriter whose family music has received rave reviews (“Irresistible!” -Disney’s Family Fun Magazine) and radio play from Massachusetts to New Mexico. Her original tunes from her first two CD’s have earned her national attention as one of the freshest, funniest, and insightful performers for kids.
The Up Past Bedtime Band are a group of talented New York City musicians who can usually be found up well past bedtime playing everything from country music to punk in many of NYC’s top venues.
Together they create a fabulously interactive family concert featuring funky drumming, electric violin, and silly songs about assorted childhood challenges –from accidentally losing your lunchbox to accidentally getting locked in the bathroom. Winter concerts explore sledding, sneezing, and itchy snowsuits, summer shows feature tunes about boating and baseball.
This January they received both an ASCAP Award and a Kids Music Award for 2011.
“This rockin' kids band delivers a mix of funk, rock and blues in quirky songs about the trials of growing up.” - Time Out New York Kids.
“Catchy and memorable music and vocals, and an overall undeniably feel-good vibe.” - Kids Music Award.
