The “Simon Sez For Better Listening & Respect” assembly program is seen at over 100 schools each year. Unique, very funny and high energy, this 45 minute show offers 100% audience participation while teaching your students the importance of being a better listener and showing respect to themselves and others. Additional topics in the show include making good choices, not succumbing to peer pressure and it’s OK to make mistakes. Finally, big colorful banners adorn the stage area with messages of ‘Listening,’ ‘Respect’ and the ‘Six Pillars of Character’. This program contains many musical interludes as well as improvisation, putting it in the categories of both Music and Theater and satisfies the NYS Coser Compliance Standard 1: Creating, Performing and Participating in the Arts.

This is one of our popular programs: COUNTRY HOEDOWN - Suitable for any time of the year - we perform a variety of songs in the world of bluegrass and country music. We can include a narrative explaining the origins of bluegrass and information on the instruments used. We can perform as a quintet, quartet or trio and instrumentation can include: vocals, guitar(s), mandolin, banjo, fiddle, or bass - based on your budget and needs ($175 per musician; + $100 for sound). Adult Presentation - straight concert and information on the history of the music. Children's Presentation - musical selections are geared for a younger audience and we invite them to sing, clap hands and play along with kazoos and basic percussion.
