STORYTIME STAGE is a fun-filled, fast-paced combination of audience participation, performance and lots of pretend. Classic tales and original stories are brought to life by two storytellers and the children in the audience. Featuring award-winning original songs and a big healthy dose of imagination, Storytime Stage will delight both children and adults alike. Typical shows are 45 minutes long and feature three or four stories and several songs and rhymes. Our stories and songs include positive social and educational messages while maintaining a high level of energy, creativity and fun! Storytime Stage is geared to families, with something for big kids, little kids, and their grownups. We also offer special programs such as Madcap Mother Goose and Not-So Spooky Halloween for children under 4.

Scientific Secrets of Magic reveals the scientific principles behind the tricks of magician Ron Cain’s trade. Children learn simple magic involving chemistry, physics, biology, psychology and math. The Syracuse University graduate and former teacher also offers other workshops that combine class instruction with hands-on activities: IT'S MAGIC! teaches kids to perform magic with ordinary objects like cards, coins and rope. Children learn simple tricks that involve chemistry, physics, biology, psychology and math. CLOWNING AROUND shows them how to have fun with juggling, yo-yos and balloon animals. THE WORLD OF HARRY POTTER gives Hogwarts fans a chance to take magical classes and play wizard games. ENCHANTED CREATURES focuses on the folklore and legends surrounding elves, fairies, leprechauns, trolls, dragons and unicorns. MONSTEROLOGY sheds light on the seven monster families and invites students to use their imagination to create creepy creatures. A GATHERING OF GHOSTS introduces students to classic ghost stories and beliefs. THE WILD, WILD WEST lets children pretend to be cowboys (and girls) and learn about Wild Bill Hickok, Annie Oakley and Sitting Bull.

My friends and I present summer library programs that not only entertain, but also promote reading and the resources available at our public libraries. My 2015 program is based on the Heroes theme. The show, "Adventures of Courageous Characters", will include Ventriloquism, Magic, Music, and fun geared to great family entertainment. This year's cast of characters will include the Courageous Knight- Sir Edgar J. Woodley, Chester Hound & his Fantastic Flea, Awesome Aunt Gabby, Secret Agent Patrick Platypus, audience volunteers and surprises. The program will run about 40-45 minutes. For over thirty years my friends and I have been delighting audiences of all ages throughout much of Pennsylvania, New York, and South Carolina. We've entertained at libraries, schools, churches, senior groups, and county fairs.
