This program is intended for Junior High or High School students who need a little extra help with any particular subject including geometry, algebra, science, history, and reading/ writing. Organization, study strategies, and test taking tricks will be discussed as well! If taking a high school equivalency exam such as the TASC, tutoring will also be offered. In addition: Can be designed as a SAT PREP course as well! Lead by one teacher, so students may be paired up, and/or individually tutored in intervals, depending on group size and subject material.

4th to 6th grade. Using a ruler, pencil and markers, sketch out and draw your own original comic book with text bubbles. Base your drawings on characters in which you are already familiar or create your own. Your story line may be fantasy or based on your own life. This program can be adapted for teenagers as well.

As a creative outlet for your emotions, you will write about experiences and how you feel. This workshop will explore creative writing and journal writing to document different times in your life. Hopefully you can get into the habit of writing in your journal every day!

In this hour-long program, you will complete a personality assessment. The results will help you learn about yourself. The information you discover can only be positive because you will learn how to use your strengths for success!

In this hour-long program, you will have an opportunity to share and talk about positive outlets and stories of hope. Exploration of inspirational poems, books, and music lyrics. Learn to identify your emotions and manage various types of moods. Learn to always look on the bright side! You should leave this workshop feeling happier and more in control of your emotions.

Learn how to create a concise targeted resume that will stand out! In addition, guided discussions about potential career direction if starting over. Bring in your resume on a USB or in printed form.
