Folk tales, myths, songs both new and old, and real life stories of people doing wondrous things -- all come to life in the hands of this world-wise yet home-grown children’s performer. If ever there were a performer for our times, Story Laurie is IT!

The smallest of worlds comes to life in a big way when Mrs. Feeney turns the pages of her giant book. The American Association for the Advancement of Science has praised the book saying, “Amoeba Hop is an innovative approach to introduce young students to the world of microbiology, using song lyrics.” The students will also perform the story of Amoeba Hop right in the classroom using large cutout characters from the book and the little girl’s umbrella & coat!

Marc's sense of humor and his ability to make his audience feel good about themselves seems to have no age limits. whether he's singing about his love for his dog or about the importance of picking up the litter. You'll hear original songs that Marc has sung at peace rallies with Pete Seeger as well as some surprising sing-alongs from the sixties like Wooly Bully and tunes by the Beatles. Marc's song, American Children, was originally sung by Richie Havens. It was the title track to his album of the same name. Winner of the the American Library Association award for the Best Children's Album.

In this program, participants are taught how various traditional African instruments are made and played. The results are totally tantalizing in that students learned to count, spell, and jump all to the beat of the African drum! Join Kobla Dente as he leads audiences on a journey of musical exploration

Dragonfly Bog a musical tale for families and adults 
by composer and storyteller Marian Grudko The air is poisoned, the water harsh and bitter. The Bog is in trouble and the dragonflies are leaving --
all except Sura, a small blue dragonfly who stays behind and sets out to save Dickinson Bog Turtle. More than a story of an endangered wetland,
“Dragonfly Bog” is a tale of friendship, sacrifice, and the power of music. Marian will perform the story, accompanied by her enchanting musical score. This program is for everyone who loves good music, 
a good story and good theater.

Grudko, Marian Beatrix Potter’s classic “The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck” Music,

Beatrix Potter’s classic “The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck” performed by Marian Grudko and
 accompanied by Marian’s original musical score “A magical combination of story and music” Potter’s tale is presented word for word,
 but included in the score are two songs with original lyrics: “Jemima” 
about the pretty duck who wished to hatch her own eggs, and 
“I’m The Fox” a hilarious soliloquy by the “bushy, long-tailed gentleman,” 
who thinks himself irresistible and invites Jemima 
to a dinner party, “all to ourselves!” And you will be captivated by the bewitching
 “Waltz of Jemima and the Fox.”
