Program name: Butterfly Metamorphosis Observation Solarium

Program description: A large, library grade, decorative table/desk set solarium will be set up in a public location within the library. It will contain host plants, butterfly eggs, and patrons will be encouraged to return to the library regularly ro view the progress of caterpillars, chrysalis hatching, and butterflies within the solarium. This can be replenished as often as desired throughout the season, with the understanding that it takes 5-7 weeks for the life cycle to be complete. The library may choose to keep the solarium for future use or return it at the end of the season for a rebate. Please email me with Programs in the subject line with any questions and to be added to my live booking link and visual catalog.
Space/special requirements: A space within the library to set up the solarium and a librarian willing to maintain the plants and larvae for the duration of the lifecycle.

Notes about the fee: The solariums can be shipped anywhere in New York at no extra charge. If you wish to have them delivered and set up by the performer, a mileage fee applies, see below:
