Program description: While learning about the origins of Mardi Gras in America, participants are provided with mask, feathers, sequins and needed materials and are encouraged to decorate, design and create their own mask. The project is accompanied by printed examples of existing masks used in prior Mardi Gras festivals to use as reference. This is a make and take program.
Space/special requirements: Table and chairs, electric outlet for glue guns
