Program description: Not your usual Halloween party, but a creative choice of interactive musical activities such as wooden limberjack puppets, an imitation story, traditional singing games that children act out and sing all together, traditional rhymes and chants based on the spooky things that autumn conjures up. Children may wear costumes or not, your choice. An experienced folk music performer and family literacy teacher, with a specialty in traditional American singing games, Cathy uses guitar, banjo, limberjack puppets, flute, drum and penny whistle in her programs which are tailored for specific age groups
