Program description: Following an age-old tradition, listeners choose one by one from an a bag full of intriguing objects that arouse curiosity and spark the imagination, each representing a specific folk tale for the telling. Tim’s dramatic style of voice, movement, and facial expression brings stories to life, and his gift of encouraging participation makes for high-spirited and engaging programs. He’ll accompany songs and stories with guitar, mountain dulcimer, and conga drum. A program bibliography will be available so that books containing the stories can be on display, and Tim will recommend them in the program to celebrate and encourage reading. Tim has been delighting and captivating audiences all over the country for over 30 years. He's been selected for the New England States Touring Program, the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Education Programs, and the New Hampshire State Library's Kids, Books, and the Arts Project.
Space/special requirements: Small table for instruments and other items, and a chair without arms.
