Program description: This may be a single date program or a series of five to six one-hour sessions exploring different world music regions, Africa, Latin America, Europe, Celtic Lands, India & Middle East, North America. A display of instruments native to this regions and a demonstration is provided. Songs from each region are taught with phonetic lyrics in a call and response style for ease of learning. A brief history of each region's music will be taught. This is an interactive program that is best suited to young adults and adults, although middle school and above will find it interesting and educational.
Space/special requirements: Display table, electric connection, and possibly a wi-fi connection is desired.
