Program description: THE FUNNY FAMILY POETRY SHOW is a family show that combines poetry, comedy, motivational speaking, interaction, and fun. Darren shares the inspirational story of how he became an author, shows the audience the cool books his poems are featured in, and demonstrates what people can accomplish by working hard and believing in themselves. While performing his entertaining and humorous poems for the audience, Darren engages children and parents in a variety of ways... bringing them together and keeping them laughing the entire time! * Darren Sardelli is an award winning poet, children's book author, and motivational speaker. He understands how to get young people interested in poetry and shows them the cool and humorous side of literacy. Darren's poems are known to teach, inspire, and set imaginations on fire!
