Program description: Zumba's dance party atmosphere creates an engaging way for physically disabled and developmentally disabled populations,including people on the autistic spectrum to get fit while having fun. The exciting rhythms of Latin, International and pop music encourage even timid participants to shimmy, shake and shout while gaining valuable personal, interpersonal and fitness benefits. Objectives include increased self-confidence, focus, coordination, mastery, self-initiative, endurance as well as having an incredibly good time. This class is taught by licensed and experienced Zumba instructor and seasoned creative arts therapist.
Space/special requirements: A non-carpeted floor is preferable. Please provide a table and chair near electrical outlet. Please have a water fountain available.

Notes about the fee: It is recommended that a series be provided so participants can become familiar with and master moves. Discount rate for 4 consecutive classes.
Other notes: This program can be custom-designed for children, young adults, adults and seniors. Class is taught by experienced Zumba instructor, seasoned creative arts therapist and dance-fitness instructor.
