Program description: Horses are majestic creatures, and people of all ages appreciate their beauty. This is an opportunity to wear handmade jewelry made out of mane or tail hairs that shed during routine grooming. Several hair colors to choose from (red, white, yellow, black, grey, and brown). Traditionally these are braided pieces - but participants are encouraged to use their imaginations and create whatever they dream up with the materials provided. Horse themed cameos, beads, stones, and other adornments are featured. An unlimited number of items can be made in the time scheduled. Please email me with Programs in the subject line with any questions to be added to my live booking link. Suitable for the 2019 Summer Reading Program.
Space/special requirements: Tables and chairs for use, wall outlets nearby for electric jewelry making equipment. Can be conducted indoors or out with power supply.
Travel restrictions: None
Program fee: $101- $200
Is this fee negotiable? Yes
Mileage included? No
If no, cost per mile: $0.50
Notes about the fee: $5 per participant per bracelet. Can work out a flat rate fee of $250 per hour for larger groups or where participation is unpredictable.
