Program description: We explain how as Renaissance art styles moved through northern Europe, they were adapted to local customs. ArtScapades looks at Jan van Eyck, Hieronymus Bosch, Albrecht Dürer, Hans Holbein the Younger, and Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Approximately ten works per artist are discussed including iconic works plus those that illustrate significant trends and events in their lives and careers. See for full listing of programs.
