Program description: Through his beautiful photographs, Anthropologist-Photographer Barry Kass will take the audience on a journey back in time to the Aegean and the land of the ancient Minoans, Mycenaeans, and the classical Greeks, the founders of Western Civilization. We will explore the fortress of Mycenae, the Minoan palace of Knossos on the Island of Crete, and the magnificent sites of classical Greece, including Athens and the Parthenon, Olympia, Delphi, Corinth, the theater of Epidaurus, as well as the great Grecian cities of Asia Minor, including Miletus, Pergamon, Ephesus, Priene, Didyma, and Troy of Homeric legend, will be illustrated and described.
