Program description: Nature or science - where does our food come from? Are you consuming biotech food? Is your fast food nanotech? Gary, consumer food educator and innovator in the nutritional supplement retail field, will take you on a virtual tour from seed to plate. Learn the difference between how organic food is grown, and how genetically modified (GMO) food is made. Gary will show you how to identify GMO food when shopping, since GMOs are not disclosed on food product labels. How is GMO food symbolized in some TV commercials? We will talk about what you don’t know about conventional food that you need to know. Learn the food connection to the decline of bees and butterflies. Discover the profound link between today’s “food” and our health, allergies - even our IQ. Come away understanding how our food choices affect people, animals and the planet. Gary created a first of its kind retail catalog of name-brand vegetarian supplements and cruelty-free personal care products.
