Program description: Join Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Songs trio on a musical journey from a time when the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald, graced the stage to when the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, ruled the airways. FROM JAZZ TO SOUL celebrates great popular music from the 1930s through the 1960s by paying tribute to 9 song stylists (Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone, Etta James, Martha & The Vandellas, Mary Wells, Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight) and sharing interesting tales of the songs that were made famous by them. This hour of non-stop entertainment sparks memories and inspires audiences across generations. Through the music, the magic and the message there is something for everyone.
Space/special requirements: Access to at least 3 electrical outlets is necessary all other equipment is provided by the performer.
