In this 1-hour concert presentation, national recording/touring artist Glen Roethel will sing some of your favorite familiar songs – plus a few of his own –– and with them introduce you to an amazing assortment of factual and fictional titles from your 2011 Novel Destinations summer reading list. You'll leave with ears filled with music, hearts filled with memories, and arms filled with great books! This is a fun, useful and free concert, suitable for all ages, but looking specifically at the adult reading list. | Space/special requirements: | I will provide a sound system at no extra charge (suitable up to an audience of approximately 400 indoors; 200 outdoors). One electrical outlet is required, plus a stool (if available), and room enough for a music stand, a standing reading lamp and a small throw rug (for ambiance). |
